Social Action

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has a long history of political and social action. Our Founders participated in a women's suffrage march in 1913, as one their first social action activities as Deltas.

Quaker City Alumnae Chapter's Social Action Council has actively conducted voter registration/education at Philadelphia’s Annual Unity Day, QCA Annual Health Fair, and other venues/events throughout the city.

Quaker City Alumnae Social Action Committee has hosted their signature Annual Dessert Hour where the general public can learn more about political action and local politicians from the City of Philadelphia and the State of Pennsylvania.

Quaker City Alumnae sponsors an Annual Delta Day at Philadelphia's City Council and Delta Day at the United Nations.
